New Laetitia Casta Gallery Image Presented

Here we are with another presentation of one of the images of my Laetitia Casta Gallery.

The image is this one:



It is clear that I used the "negative" function of my graphic software.
By the way, I normally use GIMP (that is free to download) as my software to make graphic.

And perhaps you are asking yourself what I added to Laetitia Casta's skin with my software.

It is not so simple to explain it, in my mind I wanted to recall macrocosm and microcosm, and the invisible forces that are all around us in the universe, and we hardly perceive.

On the leg there are images that recall our star, the sun, and the satellite of our planet, the moon.

The other images in my mind wanted to recall the micro and the cells that make our bodies.

I used my imagination of course, and painted them on Laetitia Casta's body.

Laetitia Casta Squidoo Lens

A very short post for the blog today.

I just wanted to let everybody know that I created a lens on Squidoo about Laetitia Casta.

Till now there weren't lenses on Squidoo about the french top model and actress.

It is a lens with some basic info about Laetitia, so if you know nothing about her you can now know Laetitia Casta better visiting the lens about her.

Laetitia Casta, my Queen of the Green Eden

That can seem a strange title for a blog post, but is related to one of the images that are part of my Laetitia Casta Gallery web site,

This is the image, and below it I will add some explanations about it and its making...



This was a black and white image, nothing really special apart the beauty of the model, Laetitia.

But I thought that she could represent something more than simply the beauty of a woman.

So my creativity started working on this pic of Laetitia Casta, testing effects with light, colours and so on.

Then when I started working on the pic with green I thought I could represent her like a mother nature's icon.

But I wasn't totally satisfied.
I wanted my painting to be more special than that.
And my imagination helped me suggesting to add the green apple and the snake, to recall Eve and the Eden.

The original picture was very different, in fact Laetitia Casta in the image is in a horizontal position and not vertical.

I was intrigued by her eye looking toward the watcher and decided to add the ghost behind Laetitia.
The ghost looks at Laetitia and in my idea she isn't aware of its presence.

Let's Start...

Hello everybody,

I decided to start a blog that will do some work for the site Laetitia Casta Gallery I just created.

The first post is an introduction of the main site.

The web address of the site is:

There you can find a presentation I created with some fine pictures of the french top model and actress.

But they aren't simple pics of Laetitia Casta, they are more than that, in fact I added my personal graphic art to each image to make them something totally new from the original picture.

So, I selected what I thought were some of the nicest pics of Laetitia Casta, and also the ones that I thought I could have made nice digital paintings (I call like that my graphic art works) out of.

I then waited for the right inspiration, watching the image of that beautiful woman that is Laetitia Casta on my monitor with my favourite graphic software ready to work.

I hope you like the result...
